Montali is the perfect spot from which to visit all the glorious mediaeval cities of Umbria and lower Tuscany such as Assisi, Siena and Gubbio. Apart from the charm of the buildings, all the rooms are equipped with newest comforts: private facilities, phone, hand-carved teakwood furniture, original oil paintings, with patios or verandas to enjoy the cool evenings breezes and magnificent sunsets. Most are within one hours drive
